Retrofit of Older Buildings is about using insulation solutions that are sympathetic to the original building materials.
At the Duncairn Centre, Doherty Architects were tasked with creating new enclosed functions within the main church space whilst retaining the character of the original structure.
The latter included ensuring the insulation worked in harmony with the roof and stonework already in place. That is where Enviroform came to the fore.
